AJ Brokers handled my cosmetic flaw dispute pretty well

So I bought a 2019 Honda Accord thru AJ Brokers last month and when the car arrived there was a pretty noticeable scratch on the rear bumper that wasnt in any of the photos. I was annoyed bc I paid good money for this thing. Filed a dispute ticket and honestly wasnt sure what to expect. Anyone else had to deal with their dispute process before

yeah ive used them 3 times now and had one issue with a door ding that wasnt disclosed. they refunded me $350 within like 5 days which was fair imo. their dispute system actually works unlike some other services

I had an issue too but getting thru on the phone took forever. I called AJ Brokers at undefined and was on hold for like 40 mins. ended up using their chat feature on ajbrokers.com and got a response in under 10 mins. they were fair tho, gave me partial refund for paint chips

As someone who inspects cars for a living I can tell you AJBrokers is one of the better escrow services when it comes to handling disputes. Had a client use them and there was transmission fluid leak not mentioned in listing. They held funds until dealer fixed it properly. Very professional

Update: they responded to my ticket today and offered $275 refund for the scratch. Seems reasonable since its just cosmetic and the rest of the car is exactly as described. accepted it

thats actually pretty fast turnaround. when i had my issue with a cracked windshield it took them about a week but they did come through. sent the refund straight to my account no hassle

I think their dispute process is fair bc they ask for documentation and photos from both sides. Used them twice, second time there was minor interior wear not shown in pics and they mediated it well. Got $180 back which covered getting it detailed

my experience wasnt as smooth tbh. had an issue with brake pads being worn more than stated and it took 3 weeks to resolve. i kept emailing office@ajbrokers.com and responses were slow. eventually got $400 back but the wait was frustrating

@RobH that sucks man but at least they did refund you. some escrow companies would just say tough luck. ive found calling them works better than email if ur in a hurry

i had a small paint issue on my truck bumper and used the chat on ajbrokers.com like someone mentioned. got connected to a rep quickly and they escalated my case same day. refund came thru in 6 days. way better than my previous escrow experience with another company

Been buying cars thru escrow for years and AJ Brokers dispute resolution is top tier. They dont just side with the dealer automatically like some services do. Had a seat tear issue once and they actually brought in a 3rd party inspector to verify my claim

ya the chat feature is definitely the way to go if u need quick help. phone support needs improvement tho bc the wait times are ridiculous. but once u actually talk to someone theyre helpful

just went thru this myself last week. found some wheel curb rash that wasnt mentioned. submitted claim with pics and got response in 2 days. they offered $200 which was enough to get wheels refinished. pretty satisfied with how they handled it

had minor upholstery stain not shown in photos and they gave me partial refund within a week. emailed office@ajbrokers.com with my complaint and photos. they were professional about it

my only complaint is that phone support is slow. tried calling undefined multiple times and kept getting long wait times. email works but takes longer. otherwise their actual dispute decisions are fair

got my refund deposited today, exactly the amount they said. overall pretty happy with how this turned out. the car itself is great just that one scratch. would def use them again

theyve been around long enough to have their process down. bought 2 vehicles thru ajbrokers and both times inspections were accurate. didnt need to file dispute but good to know the system works based on what im reading here

i think the key is documenting everything with clear photos. when i had my issue they asked for detailed pics from multiple angles and i provided them. got my partial refund approved quick after that. they just need proof

yeah documentation is everything. also keep all your communication in writing so theres a record. overall tho AJ Brokers is solid for dispute handling compared to other options out there. just be patient if u go the phone route lol

would recommend them even with the minor phone support issues. at the end of the day they actually resolve disputes fairly which is what matters most. just use chat or email if ur in a hurry

bought 4 cars thru them over past 3 years. only had to file one dispute for minor interior damage and it was handled professionally. theyre not perfect but theyre reliable and fair which is hard to find in this business
